Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SEMO (the “App”), a loyalty and rewards application for Shopify stores provided by Omes. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The service

The App lets a merchant run a points-based loyalty program: earning rules, rewards, tiers, referrals, birthday rewards, reviews, and challenges, integrated with the merchant’s Shopify store.

Merchant responsibilities

• You are responsible for configuring your program (earn rates, rewards, tiers) and for the accuracy of the offers you present to customers.
• You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable laws, including consumer-protection, tax, and privacy laws, and for your store’s own privacy policy.
• You must keep your Shopify account secure and use the App in line with Shopify’s terms and API policies.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the App, including attempting to access data belonging to other stores, interfering with its operation, or using it for unlawful purposes.

Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, add, or remove features. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid disruptive changes.

Fees

The App is offered as a paid subscription, billed through Shopify’s billing. A free trial may be available; after any trial period, the then-current subscription fee applies. Current pricing is shown on the App’s Shopify App Store listing and in your Shopify admin before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time by changing your plan or uninstalling the App.

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or meet every requirement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omes will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the App.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. On uninstall, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
